Transition from Inspera to WISEflow

From 4 May onward, all home exams, assignments, and portfolio submissions must be delivered in the WISEflow examination system. On‑campus examinations will continue to be held in Inspera during spring 2026, except for a small number of on-campus exams that will be tested in WISEflow in May. Students can see which exam system applies in Studentweb, where each assessment will be marked as either Inspera or WISEflow.
From autumn 2026, all exams and submissions will be conducted in WISEflow.

  • 🖥️ Get to know WISEflow

We recommend that you complete a demo test before the exam so you can test your computer and become familiar with WISEflow. The demo test ‘FLOWassign’ shows how a home exam/assignment submission will normally take place

    • Make sure you have a stable internet connection at home. If you are on campus, you can connect to the wireless network (eduroam).
    • Students must log in to WISEflow using their FEIDE account. Make sure your FEIDE account works before the exam. You can test this by logging in to WISEflow or Canvas. If you have any issues with your password, you can create a new one through the Self‑Service Portal.

Please note paragraphs 26-29 Referencing and plagiarism:

    26. Nord University performs plagiarism checks of submitted written works. All aids are generally allowed for submissions. However, it is not allowed to collaborate on individual submissions. Examination candidates must therefore be cautious with discussions about the task text that can result in similarities in content, structure, language, interpretation, and evaluations in the answer. The answer must be designed by the individual candidate alone, and similarity can be an expression of unauthorized collaboration that can be considered as cheating.

    27. When submitting written work, all sources must be stated both in the text itself and in a complete bibliography, unless otherwise specified in the task text. For direct transcripts, it should be clearly marked with indentation and italics or similar, and there should be a source reference with a specified page reference. Information about correct source usage and references can be found here: Citing sources and referencing. Insufficient source references and references can be considered as plagiarism and will be treated as cheating/attempted cheating.

    28. It is stated in the course description whether the exam answer should be answered individually or in a group.

    29. Generating an answer using ChatGPT or similar artificial intelligence and submitting it wholly or partially as one's own answer is considered cheating unless otherwise stated for the specific exam.

  • Take-home examinations

Take-home examinations are characterised by the fact that there is a set and limited period of time for distribution of the examination paper and submission of the answer. They usually take place over a few days, for example, the examination paper may be distributed on Monday at 09:00 with a submission deadline of Friday at 14:00.

    Assignment/thesis

The thesis as a form of examination is typically a semester, project, bachelor's or master's thesis. Guidance can be provided that is adapted to the level and scope of the thesis. Unless othervise stated, the assigmment is normally published in Canvas, and should be submitted in Inspera.

All group members are jointly and severally responsible for the content of the written answer and the entirety of what is submitted. This means that any suspicion of cheating will apply to all group members.

    Portfolio

Portfolio submission is often several different elements that when combined constitute a basis for assessment, and which is given an overall grade based on an overall assessment. A portfolio may, for example, include written works, species samples, lab exercises and artistic work.

The document Approved Forms of Assessment at Nord University (pdf) provides a complete overview of our various forms of examination.

    Upload your response
